Description
The Dahua DHI-NVR4432-16P-EI is a professional 32-channel IP Network Video Recorder designed for medium to large CCTV installations requiring centralized recording, PoE camera connectivity and intelligent video surveillance.
As part of Dahua’s WizSense NVR 4-EI Series, it combines network video recording with AI functions such as face detection, face recognition, perimeter protection and SMD Plus. It also supports AI functions performed by compatible Dahua cameras, including ANPR, people counting, heat maps and stereo analysis.
32 IP Camera Channels
The NVR provides 32 IP camera channels, making it suitable for installations where multiple cameras need to be managed and recorded from a single central recorder.
It supports IP camera resolutions up to 16MP, allowing it to accommodate high-resolution surveillance cameras for applications requiring detailed video.
16 Built-In PoE Ports
Sixteen of the camera connections are provided through built-in 10/100 Mbps PoE ports supporting IEEE 802.3af/at.
The integrated PoE capability can simplify CCTV installations by allowing compatible IP cameras to receive both network connectivity and power through Ethernet cabling.
The NVR provides a 150W total PoE budget, with up to 25.5W available from an individual PoE port.

Four HDD Bays

Dahua WizSense AI
The recorder provides several AI functions directly at the NVR level.

This distinction is important when designing a CCTV system: the AI capabilities available in the finished installation depend on both the NVR and the connected camera models.
High Network Throughput
The NVR supports up to 256 Mbps incoming, recording and outgoing bandwidth when AI is disabled. With AI enabled, Dahua specifies up to 180 Mbps for incoming, recording and outgoing bandwidth.
This provides bandwidth capacity for larger collections of IP cameras while allowing the recorder to handle centralized recording and playback.
Smart Video Compression

The HDMI output supports resolutions up to 3840 × 2160, allowing a compatible display to be used for local CCTV monitoring.

ONVIF and Third-Party Camera Support
The recorder supports ONVIF 23.12 Profile T, Profile S and Profile G, together with CGI and SDK interoperability. Dahua also lists support for selected third-party camera manufacturers.
This can be useful for projects where an installer needs to integrate compatible network cameras from different manufacturers, although individual camera functions should be checked for compatibility before deployment.
