8 Core Mini ADSS G.652D Fiber Cable – 80M Span, 1KM
The 8 Core Mini ADSS Fiber Optic Cable is an outdoor aerial fiber cable designed for telecommunications, ISP and FTTH networks where fiber needs to be suspended between poles or other supporting structures.
With 8 single-mode G.652D optical fibers, an 80-metre span specification and a 1,000-metre cable length, it is suited to relatively short aerial spans commonly encountered in residential estates, urban deployments, rural access networks and ISP distribution routes.
All-Dielectric Self-Supporting Construction
ADSS stands for All-Dielectric Self-Supporting. Unlike conventional aerial fiber installations that may require a separate steel messenger, ADSS cable incorporates its own non-metallic strength system.
Mini ADSS/ASU constructions commonly use FRP strength members, water-blocking materials and a PE/HDPE outer jacket.
The absence of metallic components also makes an ADSS design suitable for installations where electrical isolation is desirable.
80-Metre Span
The 80M span refers to the intended maximum/support-span class of the cable—not the length of the cable.
